An amazing schedule of inclusive and para sport events is coming to Swansea this summer!
The Para Sport Festival will be coordinated by Disability Sport Wales and developed and delivered by a network of key stakeholders, including Welsh National Governing and/or British Governing Bodies of sport, Swansea Council, and local insport clubs, aiming to deliver high quality accessible opportunities for disabled children, young people, and adults.
The Para Sport Festival comprises a mixture of Take Part events and Spectate events.
Outside of traditional mega-events, like the Paralympics, Deaflympics, Virtus Global Games or Special Olympic Games, this is the first event of its kind. The Para Sport Festival comes to Swansea alongside Volvo 2022 World Triathlon Para Series Swansea and Ironman 70.3 Swansea, together making up an action-packed week of high quality insport and competitive para sport events across the city.
