Welsh Surfing Federation Surfing School

The WSF surf school teaches surfing to absolute beginners and improvers.

All equipment is provided in every lesson.

We use buoyant and safe surfboards that make surfing easier to learn.

We have a large range of men's, women's and children's summer and winter wetsuits with wetsuit boots.

All instructors hold current Surf Coach and Beach Lifeguard awards and are DBS/CRB checked. We have a proven track record in teaching in a fun and effective way having run lessons at Llangennith since the early 1980s.

The surf school is owned by the Welsh Surfing Federation who are the not for profit governing body for surfing in Wales. As a Welsh Surfing Federation approved surf school we operate with safety as the most important requirement in a lesson.

We are the only surf school permanently based at Llangennith, Gower.

Opening from early Spring to late Autumn every day in peak season and on selected dates otherwise. Booking is recommended but not always necessary.
