Bistro by the Beach at Oxwich Bay Hotel

It is with deepest regret, and with no other option, that the Oxwich Bay Hotel will be closing on Saturday 21st March 2020 for a period of at least three months. On behalf of our staff and all of our private and wedding guests, we are absolutely devastated. In our 60 years of being open, this is something we could never have imagined happening.

We are remaining optimistic that we will be able to re-open, and so if you have a booking with us, we will hold your deposit and allow you to transfer it to another stay with us, within one year of your original stay date. This is effective from 12/03/20.

While the hotel may be closed, it will still be staffed, but we are experiencing a high volume of calls, so we kindly ask that if you wish to contact us, you do so via the form on our website. We are contacting all customers with upcoming stays – in date order – so please bear with us if you don’t receive an immediate response.

Our award-winning restaurant is set at the heart of our lively and charming hotel. Dine in our sea view restaurant and enjoy breathtaking views of Oxwich Bay beach just beyond the window or enjoy the striking interiors of our Chestnut Room. Our head chef Tom has created a series of menus showcasing contemporary dishes with fresh, seasonal ingredients at their heart. Dishes range from firm favourites such as sausage and mash to showstoppers like pan fried turbot, served alongside dedicated vegetarian and vegan options.
