Caswell Bay beach

Caswell Bay beach is a sought-after spot with surfers and families alike. The bay has fantastic views and accessible amenities.

Caswell Bay holds both a Blue Flag and Seaside award and is accessible by wheelchair.

Two floating beach wheelchairs are available for hire free of charge from Swansea Council, but prior booking is essential. Please contact Peter.Beynon@swansea.gov.uk or call 01792 635718.

The car park is approximately 100m from the beach and there are toilets, external showers and refreshments nearby.

The car park is equipped with a modular Changing Places unit adjacent to the existing toilet block. Please note you will require a combination code to access the unit. Please ring Swansea Mobility Hire on 01792 461785 (Mon-Sat) to request the code before you travel.

Forgot your bucket and spade? No problem, you can buy a spare on the way to the beach!

There is a lifeguard on the beach between May and September and public transport is available at Caswell Bay, although is is some distance away (approx. 400m). The distance between stop and beach may include difficult or rough terrain.

Caswell Bay is suitable for watersports and there is a seasonal dog ban (1st May - 30th September).

Caswell Bay is also a voluntary no smoking beach.
