Swansea’s magical winter experience

Waterfront Winterland is now closed for the 2021 winter season. Check back closer to winter 2022!

Museum Park will be transformed into Waterfront Winterland for the 2021 festive period with everyone’s favourite attractions – including a new and improved Alpine Village, more funfair attractions, and a brand new ice walk (with 2-4-1 skating sessions until 16th December!) brought to you by Sayers Events and A2H Live, in partnership with Swansea Council.

Everyone’s favourite Alpine Village will be returning this year, with an extended area to enjoy festive food and drink, socialise and soak up the festivities.

Guests can enjoy the Alpine Bar; the perfect way to socialise with family and friends in the cosiest of areas – ideal for those cold winter nights! See Swansea from the skies with our 33m Observation Wheel – the best way to see the magical views of the City. Have a go on our new funfair attractions, guaranteed to give you the thrill of your lives!

Find the tastiest food and drink in town with local traders, have a go on the traditional funfair attractions and surround yourself in the most magical environment in Swansea.

Ice Skating returns to Waterfront Winterland this year, with the ever popular covered rink now being accompanied by a magical Ice Walk which meanders through the trees, brand new for 2021! And skaters will have access to both during their skating sessions! To celebrate the Ice Walk coming to Swansea, visitors can enjoy a 2-4-1 skating session between 1pm-4pm every Monday to Thursday, until 16 December 2021. Accessible skating sessions will also be available every Tuesday.
