Handel’s sacred oratorio Messiah is a traditional Christmas favourite and this year’s performance is led by Swansea Philharmonic Choir, who have been entertaining Swansea audiences for over 60 years. The Choir is joined by soloists Ellen Williams, Sioned Terry, Robert Lewis and Steffan Lloyd Owen, accompanied by The British Sinfonietta. The choir is conducted by Jonathan Rogers. With inspiring and exhilarating choruses such as ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘For Unto Us a Child is Born’, this is a concert not to be missed.
