Free tours of the Hafod-Morfa Copperworks are available to anyone interested in Swansea’s industrial past. The visits are being led by enthusiasts from the Friends of Hafod-Morfa Copperworks – and focus on the site’s ongoing multi-million pound regeneration. These tours are a must for those who would like to find out about Swansea’s proud copper heritage. The copperworks are one of Swansea’s hidden historical treasures and there are now plans to preserve its historic buildings and structures and bring in a Penderyn Distillery on site.
