We’re really looking forward to throwing open our doors to our visitors again. Not surprisingly, there will be a few changes you’ll notice when you come to the Dylan Thomas Exhibition. We’ve picked out some of our favourite quotes from Dylan to help us illustrate them.
‘Time has ticked a heaven round the stars’
Our temporary opening hours are 10am to 4pm on Wednesdays through to Sunday. You won’t need to book a slot to visit, but we will be monitoring numbers on site to ensure that there’s plenty of space for people to physically distance from each other. Please call us if you’re a large group and we can advise further.
In common with other venues, we ask that if you feel unwell on the day, or have been in contact with someone who’s tested positive for covid, to please get in touch and rearrange your visit.
Please be as hygienic as Mrs Ogmore-Pritchard in Under Milk Wood! There are sanitising points in the foyer and as you go into the exhibition for you to use before you head in to explore our ‘Love the Words’ exhibition.
Please maintain social distancing when you’re in the Dylan Thomas Centre. We have some stickers on the floor to help – but we also like to imagine that we should keep the length of a ‘Dylan in the bath’ away from each other.
Please wear a mask unless you have an exemption.
We encourage all our visitors to check in with the NHS app, or to leave contact details for Test, Trace and Protect. Details are kept for 21 days only, and there’s more information about this here: https://gov.wales/test-trace-protect-coronavirus
We’re especially looking forward to welcoming back our youngest visitors! Although our Learning Space is not yet open, our Children’s Trail is available – if you can, please bring your own pencil to complete it! We also have a whole host of fun activities to download.
If you buy anything from our shop, it’d be brilliant if you could pay by card, but we can take cash if not.
