Back for Good, Never Forget and Dakota are among the tracks that will feature when two of the UK’s leading Take That and Stereophonics tribute acts take to the stage at the park on Sunday June 30.

The Monophonics and Take That 2 form part of the line-up for Swansea Council’s Live at Singleton Park event that will also feature a variety of local bands and a yet-to-be announced headline act. The Fevers, Soul Jam and Like a Lion are among the local groups to have already been confirmed.

A big top marquee is being set up just for the day to accommodate the bands and the crowds.

Cllr Nick Bradley, Swansea Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, said: “Singleton Park has a great tradition in hosting live music events and what’s being planned for the end of the month will be another terrific occasion. This is one of many events forming part of the Swansea Bay Festival that will appeal to people of all ages and help attract visitors into our city.

“People really do have a lot to look forward to over coming months with events like the Wales National Air Show and Summer Roller being held here too.”

Summer Roller will see a roller-skating rink set up at Museum Park from August 14 to August 27. The Wales National Air Show returns to Swansea on July 13 and July 14.

Tickets for Live at Singleton Park are now on sale. They cost £8 (Standard), £6.50 (Concessions) and £5 (Passport to Leisure).
